The Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies is a program of study designed to qualify its graduates to pursue a career in law including employment at Nevada law firms; Nevada governmental entities; and professional businesses including real estate, mortgage, banking and insurance to name a few. In order to obtain a traditional law degree, you have to complete four years of undergraduate study and apply for entrance into a law school, which can be very competitive and will take another three to four years to complete. With a Paralegal Studies Associates degree, you can earn an associate or bachelor's degree and begin working in your career as soon as you finish your degree.
