Q. What should I wear for my Graduate Photos and during my
graduation ceremony?
We recommend using the following guidelines as you prepare for your big day!

| Wear Professional Dress and Shoes (i.e. interview
attire). |
Wear Casual wear or Athletic wear. |
| Choose solid or lightly patterned fabrics. |
Choose boldly patterned fabrics (as they can be distracting in your photo). |
| Choose mid-tone colors (e.g. blues, greens,
purples). |
Wear white (the photo backdrop is white and you will look like a floating head). |
| If wearing a button up, consider a tie, sweater, or
blazer. |
Choose very bright colors (e.g. highlighter tones). |

Choose flesh tone colors (as tops that match your skin tone can blend your face into your clothing in the photo) |
Q. Can I decorate my graduation cap?
ABSOLUTELY, it is encouraged!
Q. What will graduates be doing before the ceremony?
After checking in with the welcome team, you will be mingling and taking photos with instructors, taking your own social media photos, giving interviews on Facebook Live and preparing to walk into the arena.
There is not much time scheduled to arrive, check-in, and snap some pictures and videos before it’s showtime…so don’t be late. It’s NOT an option.
Q. What will guests be doing before the ceremony?
The entire arena will be open for their enjoyment. There are multiple concessions and bar locations open from which they can purchase a variety of foods and drinks to enjoy during the ceremony.
Although there is plenty of seating, the earlier your guests arrive, the better chance they have of getting their preferred seats.
Q. Are there hotel rooms available at the Orleans Arena for
out-of-town guests?
